New Drummer - New Start - New Year!

Hey everybody!

Hope your all feeling well and ready for Xmas! I think as i write this we have been very lucky in the town of Swadlincote to have had no snow yet this week! It was still -9 degrees this morning though!

We do have a bit of news to tell you about, things have been a little "quiet" from us in terms of the output of the band. We have had a few hurdles to overcome.

Firstly we need to announce that Aidan has now left the band. He was finding the strain of a Full Time Uni course, 2nd job and 2 bands a little bit too much so we couldn't push the band forward as much as we would of liked. He was an absolute machine for trying it though and we will remain good friends and wish him the best of luck in the future!

Secondly, we are delighted to introduce you to our new drummer Tom Bradshaw-Smith who we are really excited to have on board. We have already rehearsed together and well lets just say things "clicked" into place. We are already working on the live set and are excited to be rehearsing new songs.

It looks like our live debut is gonna commence with a local show at the end of march 2011, followed by 3-4 UK shows in April and some European shows in the summer. We are really excited about that. Recording will go ahead as planned at Prism Studios, Stoke at the end of Jan.

Also just want to thank Tom and Stephen at Arch Recording, Burton for hooking us up with some brand spanking new rehearsel space and making us feel welcome. We are really looking forward to rehearsing and recording there for a long time!

So yeah i think thats all for now! Enjoy your xmas shopping!
I hope Santa doesn't get stuck on the M1!

NEWS NEWS NEWS!

Read all about it!!!
You don't see many of those people in the streets trying to flog the papers anymore do ya?
Well at least not where i live!

Its been a while since my last blog - not cos im so busy i don't have the time to write on!
More because i don't want to bore the tits off anybody that can be bothered to donate their own valuable time to read it!

Anyway we have been quite busy on the band front so heres what we got to tell ya!!!

Recording a Single!
We are delighted to be heading back to Prism Studios, Stoke to work with our old friend Shaun Lowe (Sting, Sash, The Drifters etc) to record the final version of our first single "Second Nature" . We will be in there over the last week of January to stay tuned for that!!! We will also be doing a nice chilled out acoustic b-side to go with it.

Better still this single will cost ya £0, ZILCH... Totally free to download, and share with your friends!

Recording a Video!
We are delighted to say we are going to be recording a video to go with it! We are still in the planning stages with this one but we are hoping it will be done and dusted before the end of feb! You will be able to see it on youtube and hopefully on some TV channels by the end of march!!

Tour!
Its cool to see that quite a few of you are already asking us to play in your town! We are going to be limited on how many shows we can do. Will probably be 4 UK shows plus 1 or 2 in europe! We are going to try and play in the best places so that most people can get to 1 show! Please please please try to come out and bring some friends to party with us!

Merch!
FYH tshirts will be available from after xmas in a range of sizes and colours. Final prices are TBC but i would imagine around the £5 mark.. Pre-orders should be available sometime before xmas!

Spread the Word!
We want to thank everybody for their support so far! We have had lots of positive comments and it is pushing us forward and inspiring us more than you know! Please do suggest us on facebook to all your friends and also promote us on twitter!
